Ullevålseter March

Overview: Out (and up) and return (and down) route from Sognsvann Lake to Ullevålseter cabin and back. Most common route is up and back on the eastern side of the trails, but you can turn it into a loop using the trails on the western side of Sognsvann.

Day/Night: Both, trails are lit

How to get there: Take the T-Bane (Metro) to Sognsvann Station on Line 5.

Tips: Check if the downhills are icy when you are going up

Frognerseteren Loop

Overview: Anti-clockwise loop from Frognerseteren Station into Nordmarka south

Distance: 10.3km

Difficulty: 2/5

Food Highlights: Cinnamon bun from Tryvannstua

Day/Night: Daytime is best or nights with a good headtorch

How to get there: Take the T-Bane (Metro) to Frognerseteren on Line 1

Tips: Sit on the left hand side of the T-Bane on the way up to Frognerseteren for the views.

Lillomarka Tour

Overview: Tour through Lillomarka from Tonsenhaugen - Lilloseter Cabin - Sinober Cabin - Kjelsas

Distance: 20km

Difficulty: 3/5

Food Highlights: Skolebolle from Sinober

Day/Night: Daytime is best or nights with a good head torch

How to get there: Take the Bus #31 to Tonsenhaugen.

How to get back: Take the #12 Tram back in to the city from Kjelsas.

Tips: Trail starts north of the Tonsenhaugen School. Also best to check the Skiforening website the condition of the trails, the trail between Lilloseter and Sinober doesn’t get prepped as often as others.
